Greatvine with Sherril & Thomas Soliman
On an evening where we were displaced from our usual location to The MAC just round the corner, we were treated to some wonderful Proseccos and authentic Italian wines in the company of Sherril Soliman and her husband Thomas, of Greatvine. Sherril's almost encyclopaedic knowledge of the region and the wines along with her passion for the subject, helped to warm us all on such a cold evening. A lot is said and written about sparkling French wines from a certain region, but we learned that Prosecco is no distant cousin, with their strict methods and regulations these wines are of equal quality at a far better value. A personal favourite of mine being the Montagner sparkling red!
